E-ACLS for the Healthcare Provider

This is a highly dynamic and interactive online course that provides a case-based educational approach to teach pre-hospital providers as well as Nurses and Physicians the knowledge they need to assess and manage life-threatening cardiac and respiratory emergencies.  This training is in accordance with the 2010 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.  This course can be used as either an initial training or a recertification requirement for ACLS.

NOTE:  On site skills practicals may be required however most practicing healthcare professionals do not require a skills checkoff for ACLS.  If a skills checkoff is required, the eACLS skills verfiication form will be sent to you upon request and your hospital or clinical training supervisor can complete the form verifying clinical competency based off the eACLS skills testing guidance document provided.

 Upon successful completion of the cognitive portion of the online ACLS course, continuing medical education credits are awarded as listed below:

  • 8 AMA PRA category 1 Credits and 8 hours of ACEP Cateogry 1 credit for Physicians
  • 8 CE Hours awarded by CECBEMS
