Does E-CPR & E-ACLS count for my recertification for CPR & ACLS?

E-CPR and E-ACLS are both accredited and accepted by the NREMT and most states as your certified CPR & ACLS requirement.   

Do the CPR & ACLS courses follow the Emergency Cardiac Care Guidelines?

Yes, the courses are designed following the International Consensus Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiac Care most recent guidelines.

Does the 48 Hour Refresher course count for a refresher course if I need to take a refresher to be able to retake the NREMT Paramedic Exam?

Yes, The Code3 CME 48 Hour EMS Refresher course is accepted 100% by the NREMT as an F5 virtual course and is accepted by the NREMT as your refresher course to be able to retest.

Are the Code3 CME courses accepted by the national registry as an F5 Course?
Yes, All of the Code3 CME virtual courses are CAPCE approved as an F5 virtual course and are accepted by the national registry hour for hour. This means that the LIVE instructor led courses are accepted by the NREMT as if you were sitting in a classroom with the instructor in the same room with you. The virtual led courses are NOT distributive learning but are 100% a LIVE course just as if you were sitting in a classroom.

Does the NREMT accept your 48 hour EMS refresher as a live course?
Code3 CME courses are accepted by the national registry as a live course. The 24 - 2 hour modules that the students can take in any order, are offered multiple times each day. The courses are accredited by CAPCE as an F5 Virtual Class which are accpeted hour for hour by the National Registry

If I am in California, what time zone do I follow to make sure I am in class when scheduled?
All live instructor led courses are scheduled based off Eastern Standard Time.

How long will it take to complete the 48 hour EMS refresher online program?
You can finish the program in as little as a few weeks or take up to two years.

Can I obtain all of my refresher CEU hours from Code3 CME in every two year cycle?
Yes, Code3 CME offers the 48 hour EMS Refresher to meet all mandatory and flex core content of the NREMT.  For the EMT provider, you can take all 24 hours of “Additional EMS Related Continuing Education by signing up for the Code3 Self Paced modules. For the Paramedic,  you may take an additional 12 hours of self paced modules for the “Additional EMS Related Continuing Education”  With ACLS, PALS and CPR recertification, you can fulfill the remaining 12 hours required by the NREMT.

What are the system requirements for accessing the online courses?
The Code3  CME virtual and self paced modules can be ran on an Apple or Windows computer product.  You may also take the live, virtual instructor led courses on your smart phone or tablet as long as you have an internet connection.  The system will prompt you to download the latest version of Java if you have not already done so.  At a minimum the students need the ability to instant message with the instructor and students in the classroom but we strongly encourage the use of a microphone to interact with the instructor and students from around the world in the live classes.

I have failed my NREMT Paramedic Exam three times.  If I take your course online, does it count as a 48 hour Paramedic Refresher that would allow me to retake the NREMT Paramedic Exam?

YES, the completion of a Code3, 48 Hour EMS Refresher meets the NREMT requirement as a refresher course to allow you to re-test with the NREMT.
